2006 Public Education Award for Outstanding Service as an Individual
at the Annual NEWEA Conference in Boston, Massachusetts

Brad Moore was recognized with the NEWEA
2006 Public Education Award for Outstanding Service as an Individual
for 2006 at the New England Water Environment Association's 75th
Annual Conference on January 24, 2007 at the Marriott Copley Place
Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. During the Awards Luncheon Program
Brad was presented with the NEWEA Public Education Award
by Mohamed Dahab, President of the Water Environment Federation.
Brad's two terms as
the Maine WasteWater
Control Association's (MWWCA) Public Relations (PR) Committee Chair (6
years) and activities for more than a decade in the enhancement of
programs and committee activities has promoted the professional image
of MWWCA. This cumulated with his spearheading of PR Committees
production of a DVD / Video to use in an outreach program to secondary
schools and 2-year college programs to promote the Association and the
Industry.

Established
in 1929, the New England Water Environment Association, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization whose
objective is the advancement of fundamental knowledge and technology
of design, construction, operation and management of waste treatment
works and other water pollution control activities and dedication to
the preservation of water quality and water resources. Comprised of
the six New England states, NEWEA serves over 2,000 members and is a
member association of the Water Environment Federation, an
internationally renowned organization.
