Sarah Jacobs of Corinth, Maine is the
2006 1st place winner of the Maine Wastewater Control Association's
Clean Water Week Poster Contest. The MWWCA wishes to thank Sarah and
express our appreciation for your participation in this years Clean
Water Week Poster Contest. For Sarah's efforts, she will receive
$200 and her school school has won a TV/VCR and various educational
tapes.
Katrina Poole of Kenduskeag, Maine was the 2nd place runner up and
will receive $100 for her poster submission. Kristina Fowler, also of
Kenduskeag, Maine was the 3rd place runner-up and will receive a $50
cash prize for her efforts in the contest. All of the posters will
soon be printed and the formal presentation of the cash prizes will be
made by Governor John Baldacci in the State House during the week of
June 5th. There will be an opportunity for photographs recognizing all
the award recipients with Governor Baldacci. The Association will have
a framed copy of Sarah's poster for her school and one to present to
the Governor. Sarah's poster was one of over seventy five
entries received this year.
On behalf of the MWWCA and its Public Relations Committee, Chairman Ryan
Wadsworth conveys congratulations and thanks to Sarah, Katrina, and
Kristina for participating in this years poster contest.
