Force Maine - Maine's Operation Challenge Team
2005 Operations Challenge Competition

In the 20th anniversary of the first WEFTEC Operations Challenge, held this year at the Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C., teams of wastewater operations personnel traveled from all over the U.S. and Canada to compete for the right to be called the best wastewater treatment operators in North America.

Force Maine, New England’s Champions and MWWCA’s 2005 Operations Challenge Team, acquitted themselves with honor at the Big Show, taking first place in Division II’s Process Control event, and finishing 5th place overall in a field of 28 teams.

Team members were presented with commemorative jackets on behalf of the Maine Wastewater Control Association in recognition of their efforts.
