How efficiently we treat and manage our wastewater plays a major role in achieving effective water resource management, thus wastewater treatment is an important component of the Metropolitan Council's mission.

Wastewater Treatment for Youngsters provides a simplified look at wastewater treatment and is designed to give the viewer a general idea of how the process works. In addition, it is our hope that the viewer will gain a greater understanding of how wastewater treatment relates to water resource management.
